Race HQ –Ex-Servicemans Club, 9 Friarscroft Lane, Wymondham NR18 0AT 

Thank you for entering the New Years Day 10km, Race HQ is Ex-Servicemans Club, 9 Friarscroft Lane, Wymondham NR18 0AT.  The race will start  promptly at 11.000am.

The Race start will have predicted finish time markers please be honest and start in your correct place.

Please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the details below. 

Race Number
A runner other than yourself must not use your race number. It must not be cut, folded or mutilated in any way, and must be fastened securely to the front of your vest or top.  Please write your name, telephone number and any medical condition on the reverse of the number. 

Directions
Please Leave the A11  follow signs for Wymondham town centre.  Please follow WAC signs to the start. 

Parking
Limited parking at central hall.  Other parking available in various sites around town.  Please see enclosed map.

Changing
Changing available at Fairland hall along with refreshments facilities.

The Course
The course has been accurately measured and marked at each kilometre.  The race starts in Lady’s Lane and goes into the countryside then back into Wymondham finishing in Ladys lane, you must run on the left hand side of the road at all times and obey instructions and directions of the police and race marshals.  There will be water stations at points on the course please see course map. 

First Aid
Qualified personnel are in attendance during the race.  If you need attention, please alert the nearest marshal.

Finish
Please remain in the finishing order after you have crossed the finish line, and move clear of the funnel when your race number has been recorded.  Then please help yourself to a drink, even if you don’t feel thirsty. The race finish is approximately 15 mins from the race start.

Race Memento
A race memento will be handed to every runner completing the race.

Prizes & Awards
Individual awards will be made to the first man and first woman regardless of age category, and to the first three men, 1st M40-49, 1st M50-59, 1st  M60+, 1st three  women, 1st  W40-49, 1st W50-59 and 1st  W60+.

Team awards will be made to the first senior mens team and first veteran (40+) mens team, both three to score, and to the first women’s team (all ages) three to score.  All team awards will be based on aggregated finishing positions.
