Wymondham Athletic Club
Wymondham AC has been in existence for over 30 years being formed in the late 1970’s during the first running boom. We are a running club participating in many Road Running events, Off Road/Trail Running and the local Cross Country leagues, We cater for all runners irrespective of age, sex and ability and extend a warm welcome to all runners.
We have a well-organised structure within the club of Officers and committee, and constantly strive to provide the best possible training facilities and support for all of our members.
The club is a member of Norfolk County AAA as well as being affiliated to SEAA and UK Athletics. The affiliation of the club to these organisations ensures that we are kept advised of all news and events concerning the running and administration of the Athletics governing bodies. Benefits of affiliation to these organisations include Insurance coverage on organised club training and a reduction of race fees due by any club member when entering an affiliated race.
Currently our membership stands at well over 100 members, we have a range of abilities and age groups, with members ages from 14 - 70+, whatever your age or running goals we can help you achieve them with great support and most of all in an enjoyable environment.
Wymondham AC and Nicks Diner have teamed up to offer club members a fantastic discount of 20% on production of your membership card. Nick's Diner is a local American diner specialising in burgers and steaks based in Deopham (between Wymondham and Attleborough). This unique restaurant has a great atmosphere and there is always blues music playing in the background. As well as the usual menu there is a special's board, which regularly features enchiladas, rack of ribs and fajitas amongst other delicious favourites.

Wymondham AC is very proud that Pilch Sports Specialists have become a sponsor of the club. At the New Years Day Race 2012 PILCH will be attending the race based at the Wymondham Ex Servicemens club and will be offering a fantastic discount to all runners who make purchases on the day. PILCH will be offering 20% off all fluoro training gear and 15% off everything else on race day. PILCH can accept cards on the day as well as all that Christmas present cash. Entries are still available for the race and entries on the day will be accepted if limit is not reached.
