Wymondham AC has been in existence for over 30 years being formed in the late 1970’s during the first running boom. We are a running club participating in many Road Running events, Off Road/Trail Running and the local Cross Country leagues, We cater for all runners irrespective of age, sex and ability and extend a warm welcome to all runners.
We have a well-organised structure within the club of Officers and committee, and constantly strive to provide the best possible training facilities and support for all of our members.
The club is a member of Norfolk County AAA as well as being affiliated to SEAA and UK Athletics. The affiliation of the club to these organisations ensures that we are kept advised of all news and events concerning the running and administration of the Athletics governing bodies. Benefits of affiliation to these organisations include Insurance coverage on organised club training and a reduction of race fees due by any club member when entering an affiliated race.
Currently our membership stands at well over 100 members, we have a range of abilities and age groups, with members ages from 14 - 70+, whatever your age or running goals we can help you achieve them with great support and most of all in an enjoyable environment.
